Sure, they got back to your command zone at the beginning of the next end step, but in the right decks, thats all you need to get the job done

But then it dawned on meisnt that exactly what beginner Commander players do when they build their first decks

This card allows you to blink a creature whenever anyone cycles a card, and coupled with powerful ETB creatures like Flametongue Kavu or Mulldrifter you can get a huge resource advantage

But in dedicated lifegain decks, it could be stronger

This is a tricky Landfall and face-down Creature deck that rewards sneaky gotcha! moments
