But the steeper mana commitment, plus the fact Phenax technically does nothing on its own, locks it more into the role of build-around/win condition

It is made of solid wood with a dark brown varnish and the interior of the drawers is also painted for a more beautiful look

If I find I am losing games to having the wrong coloured mana or just having loads of weak dorks doing nothing then I would cut cards like Blinkmoth and Virulent Sliver for things like City of Brass and beefier cards respectively

Alternatively, if it sounds loud every time a card hits against the plastic you may be using unnecessary force and potentially causing damage to the edges of your cards
