So, why is this card even here

Getting some bonus burn damage on there and some protection from flyers is the icing on the cake

Its hard for it to have enough impact to be much of a sideboard card unless were really valuing the 1/4 reach aspect (not just the enters-the-battlefield trigger)

Bonehoard: this can get really big in Commander

Frequent fliers at cEDH tables, partner commanders are immensely powerful due to the card advantage they generate, but they're also incredibly fun
