The fact that it even brings back lands makes cards such as Strip Mine or fetchlands even more valuable, while also opening the door for a one-sided Armageddon or Jokulhaups if you're inclined to walk that path

Opponents tend to underestimate this little artifact (I mean, it's just one card, right?) and keep playing their cards on curve until they realize you are wildly ahead in card advantage

At worst, its counter something unless they pay two and the choosing of the spell might get around a few corner cases
