Unless you're talking about the valuable cards from the original base set, each Pokemon Generation's first TCG set, their base set, usually features a slow start to the generation

But considering how popular the Pokmon Trading Card Game has been over the past few years, it shouldn't come as a massive surprise for die-hard collectors
