BTW you should check all the fuses if they are fitted tightly as they may be loose from the manufacturer.Please see the picture attached to make it clearer

If you plug it in backward, the OEM fuse location will still work properly, but the tap will not provide fused protection to the new accessory

There is two screws (in front under rubber tray) that hold the top of the center console down, also careful pry up the trim ring

#7 I have a 2014 Ram 1500 SLT that has two outlets on the lower centre area of the dash, There is a 12v outlet on the centre driver side and a dual USB outlet on the centre passenger side
