12v cigarette lighter socket not working stopped while using an air compressor. I tried changing the 15A fuse with the supplied spares, but still doesn't work. Anyone have similar issues of the lighter socket 12V Auto Car Cigarette Lighter

I did pull the plastics off and checked the outlet and everything, didnt see signs of melting or whatever so idk

If the contacts inside the socket are worn or bent, there wont be a proper connection for the lighter to function

Do the same if the legend is missing, obscured by grime, or too confusing to decipher
